Sacred Monsters
Sacred Monsters is a new series of paintings by Tina Banda, inspired by classic movie monsters, illuminated manuscripts and children’s book illustrations.
In Tina’s words: “I never really identified with the heroes in these films, but rather the monsters that they were attacking and usually destroyed by the end of the film.”
The first three paintings in this series will be part of the Send Me Across the Sea art show on Saturday, March 8th, at Helvella Gallery in Oakland, along with the work of over 70 artists! Join us for a big celebration of Bay Area creativity!
